First post here, thanks to Raven for recommending this forum.
MAHLER HAZE will appeal to folks who like the early 1970s German electronic bands/artists such as Cluster, Harmonia, Neu! Popol Vuh etc but also contemporary artists such as Grails, FINAL, Council Estate Electronics & apparently Emeralds too.
Here's a couple of links to give you a taste:
http://soundcloud.com/mahler-haze/b-se-einstein-condensate-1st (Massive 1st LP Cluster influence on this one)
http://soundcloud.com/mahler-haze/vestual-dunes-ode-to-bong-1st (Raga Kosmische Drone ala BONG)
http://soundcloud.com/mahler-haze/crow-ignition-part-1-2-1st-mix (More Teutonic Elektroniks ala Harmonia)
http://soundcloud.com/mahler-haze/extortion-in-quad-dimensions (More "Noise" orientated i guess, similar to Bastard Noise)
http://soundcloud.com/mahler-haze/the-rhyming-leech-patti-smith (Experimental Krautronika/ electronic oddness)
I have about 12 hours of tracks up on soundcloud right now. Most tracks are unreleased & not downloadable, but click the "set" button & there's my 1st EP for free download. So far there's the Mahler Haze/English Bore split cd-r, 1 exclusive track on the "Poison gas in the living room" compilation cd , 1 exclusive track on the KPLC compilation LP. Coming soon is a cd-r called "Final Vapour" (self-released), a C60 tape called "Lupus Dei" (on Centipede farm recordings,) another cd-r called "Coming events cast their shadows before" (on Fourth dimension records). Planned for early 2013 is another limited cd-r called "desire lines" (self-released) & an album called "heuvelland" (to be announced). Gigs are VERY sporadic & usually unannounced.
Thanks for reading.
